Eva Darlene Dawson 70, of Malta, passed away at 10:24 a.m. April 6, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born January 5, 1947 in Morgan County the daughter of the late Raymond Roberts and Ethal Shuster Roberts. She was a bus driver  for Morgan Local Schools for over 20 years and was a avid bowler and bowled in several local bowling leagues. She is survived by her husband Michael D. Dawson whom she married June 23, 1979; daughters Alice (David) Kay Price of Malta, Michelle (Jason) Norman of Cincinnati, sons Matt Dawson of Japan, James (Tara) Seals of Adamsville, and Brian (Alexis) Dawson of McConnelsville; sixteen grandchildren  and her dog, Jake.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jadwin. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. She will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
