BARTLETT - Eva Ruth Cochran Eddy, 82, of Bartlett, Ohio, passed away on Sunday (Aug. 9, 2009) at Genesis Health and Rehabilitation Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was born in St. Marys, W.Va., on Oct. 26, 1926, the daughter of Raymond and Mary Goodman Cochran. She was a registered nurse/emergency medical technician, was owner and operator of Eddy's Hardware Store in Bartlett for 20 years, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Conger and husband, Sam, of Coolville, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Serena, Daniel and Samantha Conger. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Raymond Eddy. Services will be held on Wednesday (Aug. 12) at 1 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Evangelist Dan Plum officiating. Friends may call between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the day of services.
