Evalena Tabler, 86, of Columbus, passed away Mon. Feb 6, 2023, at her residence. She was born Jan. 11, 1937 to the late Dycle and Beulah Mayle.  She attended Free Will Baptist Church in Columbus.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Davey Tabler of the home, a son, Greg Tabler of Columbus, two daughters, Sharon Ceckitti and Brenda Churchill both of Columbus, brother, Alan Mayle of Columbus and sister, Ruth Patterson of Columbus, three grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one great-great child on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Eddie, Neil, Henderson, Dean, Delmar, and Watson, and sister, Bertha Johnson. Service will be held Fri. Feb. 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill followed by burial at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
