Evelyn J. Gandee, 70, of Stockport, passed away Mon. Nov. 17, 2025 at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Beverly. She was born to Dow and Irene Mosier Newton on Nov. 22, 1954 in Chesterhill, OH. She is survived by her mother, Irene Newton of Chesterhill; sons, Eric (Heidi) Gandee and Eugene (Theresa) Gandee both of Mareitta; daughters, Erin (Kevin) Tullis of Stockport and Elaina Gandee of Athens; brothers, Ed Newton of Pennsville and Jerry Newton of Zanesville; sister, Janet Newton of Chesterhill; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Dow Newton; husband, Mike Gandee; and two grandchildren, Michael and Matthew. Friends may call on the family, Thurs.
