Fay M. McFerren 83, of McConelsville passed away at 11:50 a.m. September 22, 2021 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born March 27, 1938 in Reinersville, Ohio the daughter of the late, Harold Combs and Faunna Phillis Combs. She worked for F.B. Kraps in McConnelsville, was a graduate of Reinersville High School, she assisted her husband, Edsel in the chain saw business for 48 years. She and her husband loved to go to auctions. She is survived by her children, Linda Kaye McFerren of Zanesville, Mary Ann (Jerry) KIdd of McConnelsville; two grandchildren, Jerrod (Brenda) Kidd and Jerri (James) Oliver; two great grandchildren, Colton Kidd and Gabriella Oliver; sister, Jessie Garvin; brother in law, George Woodburn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel H. McFerren; sister, Norma Woodburn; and brother in law, Dana J. Garvin; two nephews, Rusty Woodburn and Rocky Woodburn. Private family graveside services will be held at Beverly Cemetery on Monday, September 27, 2021. Memorial contributions may be made to Shrivers Hospice or to MOCO Team Blue.
