Floyd L. Conaway 84, of McConnelsville passed away at 5 :30 a.m. September 4, 2015 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. He was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Bellaire, Ohio the son of the late Elmer Conaway and Nettie Goff Conaway. He was retired from Imperial Clevite in McConnelsville and was a member of St.James Catholic Church in McConnelsville, Navy Veteran of Korean War. He drove the V.A. van for the veterans of Morgan County. He is survived by his wife Sue Landers Conaway, children Micki Conaway of McConnelsville, Michael (Pam) Conaway of McConnelsville, Floyd (Doreen) Conaway Jr. of Stanton, Nebraska, and Jim (Nancy) Conaway of Delaware, Ohio. Grandchildren Tanica Conaway and Michael Shea Conaway, great grandchildren Kai, Mikasa, and Linkyn Conaway. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday, September 7, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville . Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville, with Father Paul Walker officiating. Military rites will be held at the church following the services by American Legion Post 24 Color Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
