Floyd W. Laychak 77, of Malta, passed away September 11, 2025 at his home. He was born June 28, 1948 in Corning, Arkansas the son of George Mike Laychak and Mary Watson Laychak. He was an appliance repairman and a masonry worker and a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of the Calvary Baptist Church in McConnelsville and the Christian Motorcycle Association. He is survived by his wife, Letta Creech Laychak; children, Mary Evelyn Adkins, Angel Monroe, Alice Laychak, Kim Mullens, Mikeial Laychak, and Floyd Laychak Jr.; several grandchildren; and several great  grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Tom Barton officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service. Floyd will be laid to rest in Bailey Ridge Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in McConnelsville.
