Obituary

Frank M. Dugan 98, of McConnelsville passed away at 10:10 p.m. February, 10, 2015 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born November 30, 1916 in McConnelsville the son of the late Meridith Darl Dugan and Mabel Offord Dugan. He was a farmer and worked for Morgan Local School District until 1981 and retired as Clerk Treasurer. He was a Army Air Force Veteran of WWII where he served in the Pacific Theater with the 345th Bomb Group. He was a member and taught Mens Sunday School at McKendree United Methodist Church in McConnelsville. He was also a member of M&M Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow,Morgan County Farm Bureau, Neelysville Grange and a 4H leader for 14 years. He is survived by a daughter Karen (David) Kinney of Bowerston, Ohio ; sons James Dugan of Chattanooga, Tenn.;Tom (Bz) Dugan of McConnelsville; Roger (Peggy) Dugan of Knoxville, Tenn. ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren;brother Wayne Dugan of Ventura, California, brother in law Landon Long of Crooksville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Broedel Dugan who died in 1998, sister Dorothy Long ;brother William Robert Dugan and a sister in law Martha Dugan. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb 13, 2015 at the McKendree United Methodist Church , where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb 14, 2015 with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in McConnelsville Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements.
