Obituary

Frank L. Koehnle Sr., 79, of McConnelsville, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

He was born June 4, 1933 in Porters Falls, WV, a son of the late Forest Clyde Conley and Ruth Agnes Cherry Conley.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and attended the Bear Run Baptist Church near Six Mile Turn.

He is survived by four sons, Frank Koehnle Jr. of McConnelsville, B. Rex Conley of South Zanesville, David E. Koehnle of Tennessee, and Patrick O'Brian Koehnle of East Fultonham; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Wolf of Tucson, AZ; and one brother, Charles Erwin Conley of Washington state.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Patterson Koehnle; one son Raymond Koehnle Sr.; and two brothers, Forest Clyde Conley Jr. and Halley Sherrel Conley.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Monday, Oct. 1, at the McConnelsville Cemetery with Pastor Roger Mills officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
