Fred Victor Allen, 75, of McConnelsville, passed away on Mon, Feb. 7, 2022 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on Jan. 7, 1947 in Jewett, Ohio to the late Fred B. and Mary A. Stewart Allen.  He attended the Mary Hammond Workshop and the Two Bridges Workshop both of McConnelsville and CADS in Marietta.  He is survived by a brother, Stan (Mary) Allen of Simpsonville, NC, a sister, Karen (Fred) King of McConnelsville, 2 nieces, Amanda (Chris) Tompkins and Chantelle King both of McConnelsville, 2 nephews, Bryson (Emily) Allen of Naperville, Ill and Matthew Allen of Buckhead, Ga.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  A graveside service will be held on Weds, Feb. 16, 2022 at the Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, Ohio at 11:00 A.M.  A visitation will be held on Tues, Feb. 15 from 5-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
