Fred E. Kincaid, 81, of 5075 N. Church Rd., Malta, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. at his home.

He was born September 13,1929 in Lancaster to the late William Ivan Kincaid and Olive Blanche Gladden Kincaid. Fred was a steel worker and retired from Globe Metalurgical of Beverly. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the N.R.A. and the American Legion Post #24 of McConnelsville. He was also a former Deerfield Township trustee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife drove the entire length of the Alaskan Highway in 1992.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Richardson Davis Kincaid; two sons, David G. (Marlene) Davis of Joy and Christopher E. Kincaid of Malta; two sisters, Martha (Loy) Hanson of McConnelsville and Shirley Douthit of Gallopolis; four grandchildren,ten great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 26,2011 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 27,2011 at 1:00 p.m. The burial will be in Deerfieid Cemetery with military honors provided by the Morgan County Veteran's Group.
