Freda D. Davis Earich 86 of Malta, passed away May 15, 2015 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born Dec. 12, 1928 in Muskingum County the daughter of the late Sherman Forsythe and Agnes Laughman . She worked at Line Materials in Zanesville and took flying lessons and a solo flight as a young lady. She attended Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville and worked as a hostess at Burr Oak Lodge, and North Valley Bank. Surviving are a son Dan (Teresa) Davis of Cape Coral, Florida; step children Sunday (Mike) Murphy of McConnelsville, Barry and friend Cindy Wells of Malta, Sandy (Steve) Lahmers of Malta; brother Glen Forsythe of Zanesville; step grandchildren Donald and Jennifer Murphy , Angie and P.D. Barkhurst, Jennifer and Jeremy Clifton, Cassie and Bo Murphy, Dan and Amanda Lahmers and Sam and Jill Lahmers, Jimmy Earich twelve step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband James L. Davis, second husband Dean Earich, one sister Evelyne Clossen, brothers Warren, Lester, and Thurman Forsythe one step grandchild Clint Roberts. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.
