Freddy L. Propst, 75, of Zanesville, formerly of Morgan County, passed away on Thurs, Nov. 2, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on Aug. 28, 1948 in Marietta to the late Leo and Dorothy Metcalf Propst.  He is survived by a son, Morgan Propst of Columbus, 2 daughters, Misty Huneycut of Albemarle, NC and Brenda McElroy of Crooksville, a brother, Jim Propst, 2 sisters, Iris Kessler of New Lexington and Sylvia Hurst of Stockport, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charlie Propst and a sister, Rose Propst.  A caring cremation is taking place at his request.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
