Frieda Juanita Lawrence, 88 of Belpre, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 13, 1926 in Amesville, Ohio to the late Archie and Nellie Fawcett McCune. She worked as a clerk for Stiffler Shoes and Morris Hardware in McConnelsville. She is survived by her son Kevin G. Lawrence of Belpre, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glenn W. Lawrence, 4 brothers, George, Dale, Ralph and Dallas McCune and 4 sisters, Ruth Parks, Alda Dillie, Frances Lawrence and Jolliette McCune. Services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Friends may call on the family from 1-3 P.M. on the day of the services. Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery at a latter date and time.
