Gale E. Featheringill, 84, of Willard passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, August 11. Gale is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy; a son, David (Bobbi) Featheringill and a daughter, Kathy (Shane) Montgomery; grandchildren Sabrina (Charles) Robison, Kate Montgomery, Johnathon (Stephanie) Featheringill, Kyle Montgomery (Faith Pickett), and Audie Taylor Montgomery as well as his great grandchildren Lucas, Lila, Bradley, and Mina. Gale is proceeded in death by his parents Gale and Gladys Featheringill, a brother Ron, and a sister and brother-in-law Donna and Mike Laferty. Gale was a farmer, a retired corrections officer and a member of the Ohio National Guard. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Willard. Following his wishes, he will be cremated and buried with his beloved dog Lily who passed in September. There will be a grave side service held on Saturday, August 17th at 1pm at the cemetery in Centerton. A luncheon will follow at First United Methodist Church in Willard.
