Obituary

Gary D. Harbaugh, 68, of 6096 N. St Rt. 60, McConnelsville, passed away at 8:32 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born February 27, 1944 in Crooksville, a son of the late James Harbaugh and Etta Starcher.

He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass and was the owner of the Flying Saucer in McConnelsville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post in Malta, American Legion Post 24 in McConnelsville, FOE in McConnelsville, and the Moose Lodge in Rokeby Lock.

He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Harbaugh of Columbus; two sons, David Harbaugh of Louisville, KY, and Dennis Moler of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren, Cody Moler, and Chris and Courtney Bandurske; one great-grandchild, Taylor Bandurske; his fiancee, Judy Fortune; two brothers, Bob Harbaugh of Bedford, KY, and Mike Riffle of Granville, OH; and one sister, Sue Gerard of Arizona.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Harbaugh, and three brothers Bill, Joe, and Steve Harbaugh.

Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A cremation will take place.
