Gary L. Shook, 76, of Chesterhill, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Marietta memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 17, 1942 in Chesterhill to the late Everett and Delores North Shook. He worked as a mechanic for Gould Inc. in the Foil Department and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by a son Todd (Sharon Sampson) Shook of Chesterhill, a daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Riley of Stockport, a sister, Kaye Ratliff of McConnelsville, 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janice Sue Rankin Shook and 2 brothers, Kenneth and Claude Shook. Services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial following in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
