Geneva Ann Demster, Age 79 of Malta passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born on May 24, 1933 in Stockport , the daughter of Earl and Hazel Remy Scott. She was a member of Malta United Methodist Church and American Legion Ladies Auxillary. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Village of Malta and as a nurses aide at Mark Rest Center.She is survived by three sons, John Michael Demster of Massillon, Robert Todd Demster of Chesterhill, and Jeffrey Lee Demster of Malta. One daughter, Pamela Ann Stokes of Marysville, one brother, Carlos Scott of McConnelsville and one sister Inez Cain of Caldwell, Seven Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, J. Frank Demster, son Larry Demster Three brothers, Virgil, Lawrence, and Vernett Scott and one sister Grace Cain. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Burial will be in McConnelsville Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
