Genevie Harper 91, of McConnelsville formerly of Oak Grove Rd Cumberland passed away at 3:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2011 at the Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born November 18, 1919 in Meigs township, Muskingum County near Young Hickory the daughter of the late Hubert Adair Molyneux and Lucy Pearl Alexander Molyneux. She was a member of the Lytlesburg United Methodist church and also a Member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church and in recent years she was a member of the Ladies Society of the Reinersville Methodist Church.She was a homemaker , retail clerk, retail buyer and bookkeeper for many years. She is survived by a sister in law Mrs. Herschel Harper of Zanesville, several nieces and nephews and special friend Sondra Weaver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two infant brothers and her husband of 44 years, Edwin Harper who died Sept. 16, 1990. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 with Pastor Galen Finley officiating.
