Gerald B. Hedges, 83, of McConnelsville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at the Riverside Landing Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born in Calhoun County W.Va. to the late Shirley Hedges and Geraldine Stallman Hedges Medley.  He worked for Gutberlet Chevrolet in McConnelsville.  He is survived by 5 daughters, Kim Porter of Beverly, Roxann Olney of Eagle Port, Penney Burfield of McConnelsville, Pam Mayle of Chesterhill and Misty Ball of McConnelsville, several grand and great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gerald Hedges Jr.  A service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Malta Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the services.  Wearing a mask is requested.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
