Gerald L. Treadway, 83, of Stockport, passed away on Tues, Aug. 25, 2026 at his residence. He was born on March 18, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Verley and Laura Ellen Dietz Treadway. He served his country in the US Army, attended Oakland Methodist Church and owned and operated Treadway’s Well Drilling Services. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Morris Treadway, 3 sons, Craig Treadway of McConnelsville, Eric Treadway of Stockport and Jason Treadway of Stockport, a daughter, Ellen Treadway of Roselle, New Jersey, 2 sisters, Alberta White of Seatle and Bonnie Turner of Columbus, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Jimmy and Carl Treadway and 3 sisters, Mary Dennis, Joyce Bendlin and Linda Schmitt. A graveside service will be held on Tues, Sept 1, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the Oakland Methodist Church Cemetery near Stockport. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
