Geraldine M. Penn, 77 of Zanesville, died on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:07 A.M. at the Beckett House Nursing Home in New Concord. She was born on May 17, 1933 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Lenard and Thelma Humphrey McGee. She worked as a house cleaner and attended the Dresden Road Baptist Church in Zanesville. She is survived by one son, Rick Kirby of Zanesville, one daughter, Becky (Tim) Wyatt of Zanesville, two brothers, Jack McGee of Lancaster, and Jim McGee of McConnelsville, one sister, Rosalie Ferguson of Corning, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Forest McGee, and Bill McGee, and two sisters, Virginia Whaley and Mary Ann McGee. Services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Tom Barton officiating burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery in Portersville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 5-8 P.M.
