Glenda Laura Dotson Waite, 89, of Stockport, passed away on Sat. Jan. 14, 2017 at the Harmer Place Nursing Home in Marietta. She was born on Nov. 3, 1927 in Zanesville to the late Edward T. and Beryl M. Martin Dotson. She was a homemaker and loved raising her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Tabor Ridge Church of Christ. She is survived by her two daughters, Laura and Charles Walker of Stockport and Charlene and Charles McGrath of Fleming, a brother Roger Dotson of Stockport, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard C. Waite, a son, Chris Waite, a sister, Macel Morgan and a great grandson Brady Walker. A graveside service will be held on Sat. Jan. 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tabor Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stockport Vol. Fire Dept. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
