Glenn E. Harris, 81 of Chesterhill, formerly of Michigan, passed away on Sat. May 19, 2018 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 26, 1936 in Chesterhill to the late Karl and Dorothy McGrew Harris. He was a Machine repair man for General Motors in Flint Michigan. He was a member of the Jacksonville VFW Post #9866. He is survived by his wife, Marijoyce Ross Harris of Chesterhill, 2 sons, Karl Harris of Frankmonth, MI and Michael Harris of Birch Run, MI, 2 daughters, Mary Jane Harris of Scottsdale, AZ and Kathleen Harris of Atlanta GA, a stepdaughter, Hollie Ross of San Tan Valley, AR, a brother, Robert Harris of NC, 2 sisters, Zada Raquepaw of Birch Run, MI and Beverly Brewster of Birch Run, MI, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother David. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Weds, May 23 from 5-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
