Goldie Mae Mayle, 97 of Amesville, died on Sat., Oct. 13, 2012 at 11:35 A.M. at the Arbors of Marietta. She was born on January 15, 1915 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Granville and Mary Dalton Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Ravenswood, West Virginia. She is survived by 3 sons, Edward (Mary) Mayle of Columbus, Franklin (Rhonda) Mayle of Columbus, Jesse Mayle of Stewart, 6 daughters, Wanda (Arlis) Mayle of Columbus, Freda Mayle of Columbus, Sharon Mayle of Columbus, Mary (Dick) Hill of Chillicothe, Nida Goins of McConnelsville, and Phyllis Mayle of Amesville, several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Garfield Mayle, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 daughters, and 7 sons. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Hermon Church with Brother Roger Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
