Grace Duncan, 87, of McConnelsville, died on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. She was born on May 16, 1924 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Harold and Ella English. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. She is survived by a son, Jeff (Lisa) Duncan of McConnelsville, two daughters, Carolyn (Ted) Shoemaker of North Carolina, and Anna Marie Shoemaker of Marietta, one brother, Charles English of New Philadelphia, one sister, Norma Jean Mazanec of Ravenna, 12 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Nile Duncan, two sons, David and Donnie Duncan, one daughter, Bonnie Duncan, one sister, Anna Novak, and one brother Bill English. Services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Moundville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the services on Monday.
