Grayce L. Smith 88, of Marietta passed away April 17, 2017 at Harmer Place in Marietta. She was born March 15, 1929 in Eagleport ,Ohio  the daughter of the late Clarence B. Lindimore and Pansy Eveland Lindimore. She was a homemaker and member of the Sixth Street and Washington  Church of Christ in Marietta, Past president of the Morgan County CCL Federation. She is survived by her daughter Melodee (Charles) Aseltine of Marietta, grandchildren Brad and Rhonda Smith, Charissee Smith, Nicholas Cochran, and Crystal Sanders, seven great grandchildren,  and four great great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband W. Edward Smith who died  August 1, 2007 whom she married June 14, 1947, son Edward Randy Smith,sisters Ruth Wood, Mabel Balding, Janet Price, Betty Darlrymple, Sue Hanson; brothers James, Louis , Lee and Dick Lindimore, and one great great grandchild.The family would like to thank Marietta Hospice and the caregivers at Harmer Place.  Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017  at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Graveside services will be held at 3 :00 p.m. Friday at the McConnelsville Cemetery with Evangelist Roger Rush officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmer Hill Church of Christ or the Sixth and Washington St. Church of Christ.
