CHESTERHILL, Ohio - Gregory A. Cook, 46, of Chesterhill, died at 9:42 a.m. Wednesday (April 8, 2009) at Selby General Hospital in Marietta. He was born April 4, 1963, in Chesterhill, a son of Lloyd Cook and Damsel Ramsey Cook. He was a homemaker and was a Methodist by faith. He is survived by his father, Lloyd "Buck" Cook of Chesterhill; three brothers, Monte (Kay) Cook of Chesterhill, Emmett (Kimberly) Cook of Beverly, and Harry Vore of Vincent; two sisters, Brenda Spanks of Columbus and Rhonda (Jeff) Tabler of Veto; 16 nieces; and 11 nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Damsel Ramsey Cook. Services will be held at noon Wednesday (April 15, 2009) at Mount Hermon Community Church in Amesville, Ohio, with the Rev. Delbert Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery in Amesville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (April 14, 2009) at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and one hour prior to the service at the church.
