CHESTERHILL: Gretta Frances Mayle Hill, age 92, of Chesterhill, Ohio passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1920 in Chesterhill, a daughter of the late Ross and Lucy Hill Mayle. She was a homemaker and attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness of McConnelsville, Ohio. Gretta is survived by two sons, Harley"Bud" (Carolyn) Hill and Harry Lee (Patty) Hill, both of Chesterhill; three daughters, Donna Stevens and Sheila (Ted) Stevens of Akron, Ohio, and Debbie (Paul) Bronsdon of Gahanna, Ohio; 16 grandchildre;, 30 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Bob (Gloria) Mayle of Chesterhill; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gretta was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hill; 2two daughters, Carolyn Hill and Geraldine Smith; one grandson, Craig Smith; five brothers; and six sisters. Services will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will be in the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, November 1 at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
