McConnelsville: H. Robert "Bob" Brock, 80, of Halcyon Ave, McConnelsville, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:20 p.m. at the Genesis Health & Rehab Center in McConnelsville.

He was born January 6, 1030 in Zanesville to the late Harry F. Brock and Edna Haines. Bob was the founder, owner and operater of Brock's Auto Parts in Malta from 1955-1991. From 1991-2006 he was associated as an advisor to his sons in the towing and automotive parts business. He was a Navy veteran and was a 50 year member of the M&M Fire Department, and served as a trustee for 45 years. Bob was a member of the Corinthian Lodge #111 F. & A.M. of McConnelsville and the Aladdin Shrine Club. He was also a member of the Eagles Club of McConnelsville. Bob was a founding board member of the Professional Towers of Ohio and also held the offices of treasurer, vice-president, and regional director of Region 7 of the Professional Towers of Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Rosalie Lane Brock, three sons, Rodney Brock of Malta, Jeff Brock and Bruce Brock both of McConnelsville, a sister, Irene Weaver of Malta, a brother, William Nelson of Wills Creek.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Slater; and a brother, Summer Nelson.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Morrison officiating and the burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. A Masonic service will be at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Military honors will be conducted by the Morgan County Veteran's Group.
