Harriett J. Harris age 65 of Amesville,Ohio passed away Sunday Dec. 8,2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter (Janie Richards). She was born Aug. 28, 1948 in Akron, O. the daughter of the late Charles and Harriett Wood Harris. She retired from Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Santa Rosa, California. She was a member of the Barlow Presbyterian Church and the Western Washington Historical Society. Surviving are 3 sons Robert Chesser of Sasebo, Japan, Mike Chesser of Reno, Nevada, and John Chesser of Glouster, Ohio. 2 daughters Janie Richards of Amesville, Ohio, Katherine Hall of Trimble, Ohio,2 brothers Chuck Harris of Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Dick Harris of Columbus, Ohio, 10 grandchildren , 1 great grandson. Preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers. Memorial Services will be held Weds. Dec. 11, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home Chesterhill, Ohio friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. before the service.
