Obituary

Harry C. Cooper, 87, of Zanesville, died on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 5:10 P.M. at the Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville. He was born on April 10, 1928 in Claysville, Ohio to the late Harry H. and Bertha R. Cubbison Cooper. He spent his life working as a meat processor working for Gibson Meat Packing in Zanesville, Green Valley Meat Packing in Mt Vernon and Mansfield and retired from Campbell's Food town in Zanesville. He attended the Norval Park Church of Christ in Zanesville for the last 20 years. He is survived by his wife Marguerite Yarnell Cooper of the home, 2 daughters, Rebecca R. Southall of Bradenton, Florida and Kathryn L. Cooper, 1 step-daughter, Sharon Mozena of Zanesville, 1 step-son, Kenneth Davis of Zanesville, and many grandchildren, Cousins, Nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James and Ralph Cooper, 2 sisters, Stella Matthews and Martha Kennedy. Services will be held on Weds. July 22, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Tabor Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Norval Park Church of Christ.
