Harry F. Vore, 74, of Vincent, Ohio, passed away on Tues., June 26, 2018 at the Keystone Pointe Nursing Home in Lagrange, Ohio. He was born on Aug. 18, 1943 in Bishopville, Ohio to the late Vint Vore and Sara Napper Vore Hill. Harry was a Vietnam Veteran and served on the Naval Aircraft Carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt. He worked for many years at GE Sylvania in Parkersburg and then retired from Forma Scientific in Marietta. He is survived by his son, Harry Todd Vore of Blennerhassett Heights, a daughter, Stacey Vore of Lagrange, 5 sisters, Francis Hill, Louise Carr, Lola (Clifford) Nichols, Patricia (Richard) Norman and Rhonda (Jeff) Tabler, 3 brothers, Tom Hill, Jimmy Hill and Monte (Kay) Cook. He is preceded in death by his parents and his parents that raised him Lloyd "Buck" and Damsel Ramsey Cook, wife, Mildred Tabler Vore, 2 brothers Emmett Cook and Gregory Cook and a sister Brenda Spanks. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 11-1:00 p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with a Graveside Service following in the Kilvert Church Cemetery in Kilvert.
