Hazel "Dale" Blair 83, of McConnelsville, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

She was born May 26, 1928 in Webster County, WV, the daughter of the late Cecil R. Miller and Ora Miller Harris.

She was a member of the McConnelsville congregation of the Jehovah's Witness from May 1959 until her death.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Blair, whom she married Oct. 22, 1949. He died in 1976. Also sisters Wilma Lewis and Mildred Young and a brother, Arlon Miller.

At her request, there will be no services and a cremation will take place.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Carmel Cemetery near Neelysville.
