Hazel L. Lucas, 74, of Stewart, passed away Mon. June 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born Jan. 3, 1951 to the late Leo and Hulda Mayle Lucas in Cutler, OH. She was a Teachers Aide at Amesville Elementary, enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, sleeping and watching her great grandson Kamryn play. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn (Michael) Walker of Stewart; 2 brothers, Grovey (Pam) Lucas of Stewart and Willie (Sharon) Lucas of Cutler; 2 sisters, Patty Mayle of Amesville and Mary (Edward) Mayle of Columbus; son-in-law, Ivan Walker of The Plains; several nieces and nephews; 2 grandchildren, Kyle (Chayla) Walker and Whitney (Martin) Angler; and great grandson Kamryn Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neil Hendrickson; 3 sisters, Doris Mastice, Loraine Norris, and Jeannette Mayle; and brother, Jesse Lucas. Funeral Service will be Tues. June, 17, 2025 at 1:00 P.M at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help with funeral arrangements.
