Hazel R. Weaver, 94, of Sharpsburg, passed away on Thurs. Oct. 5, 2017 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Athens. She was born on June 3, 1923 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Fred and Amelia Thompson Lawrence. She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Weaver of Sharpsburg and Jane Bulow of Athens, 4 grandchildren, Frank, Bobby, James and Amy and 6 great grandchildren, Xavier, Quentin, Elliott, Noah, William and Brian. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville Weaver, a daughter, Donna Weaver, 3 brothers, Fred, Robert and James and 4 sisters, Doris, Anna May, Mary and Lesta. Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will follow in the Mt Hermon Cemetery.
