Hazel M. White, 84, of Stockport passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013, after a long illness. She was born September 4, 1929, in Parma, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Davis and Minnie (Hunt) Leslie, brothers John Allen Leslie and George Leslie and sister, Mary Ann Dunbar.

Hazel was an avid seamstress, loved gardening and was the winner of numerous prizes for her quilting skills.

She is survived by sons Richard (Carolyn) of Zanesville, Chuck (Betty) of McConnelsville and daughter Elizabeth (Danny) Moore of McConnelsville. She will be sadly missed by her long time friend Jeff Baightel. Grandchildren include: Amy (Mike) Cleveland of Columbia IL, Shelley (Kyle) Oller of St. Louis, MO, Paul (Jasmin) White of Macau, Carolyn (Nick) Carson of Phoenix, AZ, Christine (Mike) Rulapaugh of Phoenix, AZ, Cathy (Brandon) Mayle of Chesterhill, Beth White and Billy (Alia) White of McConnelsville, Ross (Jill Pope) Moore of McConnelsville and Carissa Moore, U.S. Navy, Traverse City, MI. Hazel was also proud of her 10 great-grandchildren living all over the world.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Services will be held at 11 am Thursday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest in the Pennsville Cemetery.
