Heather D. Copeland, 47, of Stockport, passed away Mon. Oct. 19, 2026, at her residence. She was born Sept. 22, 1979 to the late Allen and Mert Dalton Edwards in Zanesville OH. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids when she wasn’t working. She had a love for dogs and considered them her best friends; and had a strong Christian faith. She is survived by a son, Carson Copeland of McConnelsville; daughter, Olivia (James) Borick of Bullhead AZ; step-daughter, Cassie (Kyle) Gunn of Stockport; sister, Heidi Edwards of Zanesville; 4 grandchildren, Parker, Kalesia, Jace, and Braxlee; niece Kylean Smith; nephews, Gabe Edwards and Cameron Gandee; and father-in-law, Don Coplenad. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tracy A. Copeland; son, Ronnie Boggs; and mother-in-law, Norma Copeland. Celebration of Life will be held Mon. Oct. 26, 2026 from 5-7 P.M. at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
