Helen J. Ball, 93, of Malta, passed away at 3;50 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2105 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

She was born June 26, 1922 in Strasburg, Ohio to the late Lee Robinette and Mary Steitz Robinette. Helen and her late husband, Elwin owned and operated the Ball Studio in McConnelsville from 1948-1985. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville.

She is survived by two sisters, Marie Lampe of Magnolia and Doris Straub of Strasburg; two step-daughters, Karen Dye of Powell and Beatrice Jivanje of Groveport; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and two step great grandchildren; also surviving are special friends, Butch and Sue Kerns of Malta; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin K. Ball; and a brother, Carl Robinette.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Charley Simmons and David Jarvis officiating. Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband in Malta Cemetery.
