Helen R. Cottrill, 69, of McConnelsville, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at her home.

She was born February 7, 1945, in Delbarton, WV, to the late Edward White and Ella Varney White.

Helen was a self employed crafter and artisan. She volunteered at the Morgan County United Ministries Thrift Shop in Malta for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim Kallimanis of Logan; and a son, Mart Copley of McConnelsville; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven sisters; five brothers; and special friends, Bob and Kaye Drabik of McConnelsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ken Copley; her second husband, Harold Cottrill; and a son, Harold Cottrill II.

At her request no services will be held and a caring cremation will take place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
