Helen Irene Desaavedra, 90, of Stockport, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born on November 12, 1924 in Grove City, Ohio to the late Michael and Irene DiFrancisco. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband, John Pierre Desaavedra of the home, 4 sons, John Desaavedra of Pataskala, Joseph Desaavedra of Fairmount, Georgia, Michael Desaavedra of Pataskala and David Desaavedra of Stockport, 3 daughters, Mary McCoy of Portland, Oregon, Alice Keys of California and Elizabeth Romine of Stockport, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. A caring cremation is taking place at her request. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
