View a Video Memorial Helen Jane Daniels Stout, age 89, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Pennsville, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Monday, September, 12, 2011 at the Riverside Country Care Facility in McConnelsville. She was born on March 8, 1922 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Florence Carney Daniels. She worked for Malta Manufacturing as an accountant and purchasing agent, served as a Penn Township Clerk, was a member of the Pennsville United Methodist Church, and Morgan County TOPPS club. She was a 1941 graduate of South High School in Columbus, Ohio. Helen is survived by 5 sons: John, of McConnelsville, Ohio, Bill, of Delaware, Ohio, Jim, of Sunbury, Ohio, Bob, of Malta, Ohio, and Mike of West Palm Beach, Florida; 2 daughters: Barbara Vagnoni , of Kauai, Hawaii, and Mary Adams, of The Plains, Ohio; 14 grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren, and 2 half sisters: Harriett Biehl, of Bradenton Beach, Florida, and Pat Benson, of Toledo, Ohio . She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Stout, 1 brother, David Levy, and 1 sister, Jeanette Rackham. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, September 16, at the Cardington Cemetery in Cardington,Ohio at 11:00 a.m. with Dan Adams officiating. Friends may call on Thursday, September 15, at the Matheney Funeral Home between the hours of 2:00-5:00 p.m. A reception will be held at the Pennsville United Methodist Church immediately following visitation.
