Obituary

Henry Wayne Moler, 65, of 1717 St. Rt. 60, NE, McConnelsville, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Highland Oaks Health Center, surrounded by his family and friends, after a courageous seven-month battle with cancer.

He was born December 18, 1945, in Morgan County to the late George and Freda Fielder Moler.

Henry was retired from the Morgan County Herald where he was the former plant supervisor where he had worked for 45 years. He was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church, the Morgan County Agricultural Society, and the Morgan County Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Carol Townsend Moler; three sons, Dana (Crystal) Moler of McConnelsville; Dennis Moler of Colorado Springs, CO; and Wayne Moler of Malta; a step-son, Travis (Kristina) Kidd of Malta; a step-daughter, Traci (Bart) Baker of Stockport; eight grandchildren, Curtiss Moler, Kayla Campbell, Evan and Cody Moler, Taylor Moler, Cordell Kidd, and Chloe and Aaron Baker; a sister, Mary (Don) Keller of McConnelsville; and a brother, John (Gayle) Moler of McConnelsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Bill, Richard, and Jack Moler.

Friends may call Saturday, April 23, from 1-4 p.m. at McKendree United Methodist Church, Airport Road, McConnelsville, where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. with Pastor Bracken Foster officiating.

Burial will follow in McKendree Cemetery.
