Herbert Guy Cain, 55, of Blue Rock passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his home.

He was born January 8, 1960 in Athens, Ohio. Herbert had worked as a painter.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Dingey of Zanesville; three daughters, Jean Anne Kinney of Zanesville, Christina Reed (Floyd) of Crooksville, and Becky Cain of New Lexington, two sons, Herbert Guy Cain, Jr. and Carlos Lee Cain both of Zanesville; several grandchildren and a great grandchild; a sister, Doris Fritz of New Straitsville and a brother, Frank Paynter of Zanesville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Cain; and a brother, Edward Paynter.

A graveside service will held Friday, August 21, 2105 at 1:00 p.m. at Malta Cemetery. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com
