Homer Lee Moore, 82, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sat. May 1, 2021 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.  He was born on April 9, 1939 in Lusk, Wyoming to the late Leo and Edna Burke Moore.  He worked as a heavy Equipment operator for over 20 years for the Armorel Bynes Company in Cincinnati.  He attended the Corner Stone South Church in McConnelsville.  He is survived by his wife, Karolyn Boring Moore of the home, a son, Jim Moore of Powell, Wy, 2 step-sons, Jason Whited of McConnelsville and Tony Potts of Philo, a step daughter, Lora Lynch of Zanesville, a sister, Helen Fulk of Husk Wy, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.  Services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Corner Stone South Church in McConnelsville with burial following at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Somerset.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
