Hubert Arza Linscott, Age 67, of Amesville, Ohio, died at his home on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 12:20 p.m. following a long illness. He was born January 6, 1946 in Amesville, a son of the late Dow E. and Hazel Anderson Linscott. He was an electrician for the Donnley Electric Company in Columbus, Ohio, Arza was an Army veteran during the Viet-Nam Era and was a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Hooper Ridge Church of Christ, VFW and FOE, both in Jacksonville, Ohio. Surviving to mourn their loss is: special friend June Skinner of the home, 2 sons: Nick and wife Lisa of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Rick and wife Connie of Cheshire, Ohio, 1 step son: Robert Lee Skinner and wife Kelsey of Fort Drum, NY; 3 step daughters: Alisha and Angela Skinner, both of the home and Amanda McNally and husband Charlie, of Amesville, Ohio; 1 brother: Clifton Linscott and wife June, of Ft. Myers, FL; 1 Sister, Sue Ball and husband Jerold of Coshocton, Ohio, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, 1 brother, Roger and 2 sisters, Doris Linscott and Sharon Simons. Friends may call at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with Service to follow at 3:00.Pastor Roger Powell will officiate.
