Ilo A. Armstrong, 91, of Chesterhill, passed away Sun. Feb. 8, 2026 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. She was born Aug. 19, 1934 to the late George and Irma Michener Newton in Chesterhill, OH. She attended Chesterhill Methodist Church, was a member of OES Valley McConnelsville, and was a member of the Chesterhill Senior Citizen Group and the Marion Alumni. She is survived by 3 sons, Greg (Nancy) Armstrong of Venice, FL, Gordon Armstrong, and Gary Armstrong both of Chesterhill; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Armstrong; 4 brothers, Richard, Clarence, Dow and Howard Newton; and sister, Maxine Wogan. Funeral service will be Feb. 14, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, burial following at Chesterhill Cemetery.
