Ina Frances Horner was born in the hills of West Virginia Feb. 22, 1923 to the late Fred and Gay Murphy Bragg.  She returned to her beloved hills in spirit on Aug. 18, 2020.   She was the first female Morgan County Commissioner and was a member of the Morgan County School Board.  She attended the Liberty United Brethren Church, loved sewing and making dolls and enjoyed her garden and flowers.  She is survived by 2 sons, David (Betty) Jarvis of Stockport and Steve (Connie) Jarvis of Bumpass, Virginia, a daughter, June Hambel of McConnelsville, 9 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Harold Jarvis, second husband, Bob Horner, a daughter, Betty Jane, 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 2 brothers and 1 sister.  A caring cremation is taking place at the family's request.  Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
