Irene June Hook Claypoole 67 of McConnelsville was granted her angel wings Monday February 1, 2021 at 7:50 PM surrounded by her family that loved her.  She was born November 4, 1953 in Bellaire Ohio. She was the daughter of Andy L. Hook Sr and the late Florence Hook. Irene was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt.  She is survived by her daughter Melody Hook of McConnelsville, her son David (Kim) Claypoole of McConnelsville, three grandchildren Angel Claypoole, Joel Claypoole and Trinity Claypoole, her father Andy L Hook Sr, two       sisters Anna (Dale) Rowland, Karen (Jeff) Moody, a brother Andy (Mandy) Hook and several nieces and nephews all of McConnelsville.  She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Hook and a sister Faye Ellen Hook.  Burial will be at a later time in Lebanon Cemetery.  Matheney Funeral home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.mateheney
