McConnelsville, J. Dale Greer 91, of 304 Bone Rd. McConnelsville passed away at 6:30 a.m. Saturday March 21, 2009 at the Genesis Health and Rehab Center in McConnelsville. He was born August 15, 1917 in Morgan County. He was a full time farmer and a member of the Pisgah United Methodist Church, Life member of the Neelysville Grange and the Morgan County Farm Bureau. He is survived by one daughter Patricia Ewart of McConnrlsville, one son Brent (Linda) Greer of McConnelsville, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, one sister Ila Richey of McConnelsville. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett Greer and Ethel McDowell Greer, wife Edith I. Greer who passed away Feb 11, 1993, two daughters Linda Wagner and Mary Lou Greer, one son John Greer, one daughter-in-law Nancy Greer,one son-in-law Joe Ewart.Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday , March 23, 2009 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 with Paster Bracken Foster officiating. Burial will be in McConnelsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Pisgah United Methodist Church c/o Jim Rex 10794 Rex Rd. Blue Rock, Ohio 43720.
